Meet The Wellington North Community Guide
aka The New and Improved Guide to Wellington North

The Wellington North Community Guide had long served as a traditional reference, featuring business listings and community information. However, the format had grown dated and less engaging, leaving a gap in how residents and visitors could connect with local businesses, events, and resources. There was a clear need for a more modern, interactive approach that could better capture the spirit of the community and provide multiple touchpoints for meaningful engagement.
Project
Guide Revamp
Mission: Reimagine the guide in an interactive, modern format with updated design that better engages the community.

Results: We transformed the guide into a magazine-style format that’s colorful and full of character, blending a “rurban” aesthetic—celebrating the area’s rural charm while highlighting urban amenities and shopping. Beyond a traditional guide, it became an interactive resource, with QR codes linking readers directly to town pages and local businesses. A complementary digital version made it easy to access on the go, while well-designed articles and an intuitive layout ensured information was appealing and easy to find.

Project
Management
Mission: Cover costs by selling ads so the guide remains an affordable resource and partnership for the township.

Results: We didn’t just design the guide—we managed the entire project from start to finish, building strong relationships with local businesses to sell advertising that covered production costs. The strategy worked for the township, the Chamber of Commerce, and our team alike. We successfully sold enough ads to cover expenses and then some, delivering the guide on budget and distributing it for free to residents of Wellington North.
Project
Online vs Print
Mission: Bring the guide into the modern age by creating a digital touchpoint for shoppers on the go.

Results: While print will always have its place, today’s shoppers need a clean, accessible, and easy-to-use digital version. We created a modern website that hosts an online version of the guide, allowing residents and visitors to access information anytime, even without a print copy. The result is a seamless, user-friendly resource that keeps the community connected and supports local businesses in the digital age.
